PROGRAMMES AND SERVICES

IT Training Academy offers a wide range of both standard and tailored solutions and services with a team of skilled and experience experts. Our flexible model enables our clients to choose specific services or outsource the management of an entire programme to ITTA. Every one of our clients has a dedicated and experienced account manager to ensure the quality and relevance of the programmes, services and teams we provide.

Standard curriculum

These courses are ideal for individuals or a group of individuals who need to progress in their technical skills on a particular technology and obtain an official diploma or certification. This is usually either because individuals want to progress or make a change in their careers, or because they need to upgrade their skills due to technology changes within their organisations.

ITTA provides courses for most leading technologies and methodologies, including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CheckPoint, PMI, PRINCE2, ITIL, SDI, newScale, Adobe, SAP BusinessObjects, Open Source… These courses lead to diplomas and certifications that are recognised around the globe.

To provide maximum flexibility, individuals can follow our courses in different ways:

sign-up for pre-scheduled courses at our premises (view our latest calendar)

request for a course to be scheduled for a group of persons, either on our premises on your company’s premises

In addition, individuals can schedule and sit for their exams at our premises, as ITTA is accredited by VUE, Prometric and ECDL.

Tailor-made programmes for enterprises

Our tailored programmes are designed to support both IT and end-users through major IT changes within an organisation, such as migration. We also conceive practical programmes for on-going training on in-house solutions, such as specific banking software.

To help our clients through IT changes, we offer a range of services that we then tailor to suit their objectives, project timing and workforce size. Debriefing and feedback are integral and indispensable to our methodology. Our trainers are experts in their field, combining technical expertise and proven pedagogical methods.

Our clients can depend on us for consulting, as well as the design and implementation of solutions that consider all important aspects of evolution and change:

Skills Evaluation
Our pragmatic approach to evaluating skills enables an organisation to measure the current level of skills, providing a good basis for developing objectives and programmes to manage technology change or to manage career evolution.

Programme Design
By evaluating daily tasks and the impact of technology change, we recommend solutions to minimise business interruption and maximise speed of adoption. In some situations this could mean using different training methods for different profiles or management levels, ranging from classroom training, to workshops, floor-walking, individual coaching and e-learning.

Course Delivery
Apart from actually delivering the courses in an optimal fashion, our delivery services can also include all logistics and planning, including course scheduling. We of course provide standard handouts, but also produce tailor-made user leaflets and quick guides where needed.

Post-Training Support
In our experience, post-training support is vital but often neglected. Our post-training activities ensure that users are completely autonomous in their everyday tasks and have the help they need in the few days after training. It is also crucial to ensure that helpdesk staff is able to provide the correct support.

Communications
Adoption is the one of the major issues with changes in IT. Our experts design communication tools to make change a more positive experience for all those involved.

Exams

Our clients can also sit for their exams at ITTA premises as we have been accredited as a test centre by VUE, Prometric and ECDL. The following certificates can be taken in our test centres at these times:

Prometric exam: Mondays from 13:30 to 17:30

Vue exam: Thursdays from 8h30 to 12:30 and from 13:30 to 17:30

ECDL exam: upon request

Rental of training rooms and training equipment

Our clients also benefit from our training and conference room facilities. Both in Geneva and Lausanne our rooms are fully equipped with the latest hardware and software, whether it is for a Microsoft end-user course or a specific Cisco course. We can accommodate both small and big groups. The rooms are spacious with ceiling-to-floor windows that provide natural light. A cafeteria is open to all participants and ample parking space is available within walking distance. Our premises can be easily accessed through public transportation and the supermarkets, pharmacy and many restaurants are in the vicinity.

Our clients also sometimes need to rent equipment in order to transform their own conference rooms into training rooms. We provide our clients them with a full range of material that includes laptops and accessories, projectors and cabling. We also help our clients with set-up and installation.
